For over 50 years, Centre College’s Norton Center for the Arts has been Central Kentucky’s premier hub for the performing arts. However, the branding and digital presence of the Norton Center were outdated and no longer reflected its status as a cutting-edge performance venue. The goal of this project was to refresh the brand, increase site traffic, drive season subscriptions, and modernize its digital assets. We collaborated closely with the Norton Center team and Centre College to create a refreshed brand that seamlessly translated across various media, while still honoring the center’s strong heritage.

  • Season Guide Overhaul: The Norton Center team wanted a more sustainable, evergreen design for their season guides that could be easily updated year after year instead of needing a complete redesign.
  • Comprehensive Digital Footprint: The new website needed to cohesively integrate visual elements from the season guide and video promos while organizing extensive content across multiple pages in a user-friendly way.
  • Increasing Engagement & Subscriptions: The Norton Center sought to engage audiences better, drive ticket sales, and increase season subscriptions through its digital platforms.

  • Brand Refresh & Website Development: We designed a sleek, modern website that reflected the Norton Center’s updated brand while staying true to its rich heritage. The new site incorporated visual elements from the season guide and video promos, creating a cohesive and engaging experience for visitors. Our UX/UI team carefully structured the 15+ pages of content to ensure a seamless flow of information, making it easier for guests to learn about upcoming performances and purchase tickets.
  • Evergreen Season Guide: We developed a colorful yet sophisticated design for the season guide that featured fun fonts and memorable elements. The guide was designed to be evergreen, allowing for easy updates each year without needing a full redesign, saving time and resources for the Norton Center team.
  • Video Editing for Social Media: To promote the Norton Center’s new season, we edited performance footage into engaging short videos for social media. These videos helped drive interest and ticket sales, with elements from the season guide integrated to create a unified brand experience across platforms.

Season Guide: The Norton Center team was tired of completely redesigning their Season Guides year after year. They were looking for a more evergreen design that could be adjusted and reused for years to come. We curated this colorful yet sophisticated design with fun fonts and elements that created memorable, readable material.

Video Editing: We edited performance material into engaging social media shorts to promote their new season, integrating elements from the Season Guide. 

Website Design: The new Norton Center for the Arts website is better than ever, and not just because of a sleek new design. We cleverly incorporated elements from the Season Guide and the video promos to give the new site a cohesive look and feel. Most importantly, our UX/UI team carefully thought through how to best display the 15+ pages of information needed to educate guests and entice them to purchase tickets.
